Process approach: Mangrove Marine approach NECO to design their new rod holder design. In the beginning, the rod holder was design using Powershape, but the challenge was to integrate the mangroves logo onto a round surface. This was achieved by scanning mangroves logo on a flat bed scanner, importing and relieving in artcam. Then the artcam logo was imported and wrapped using Powershape. This wrapping style could not be achieved with many of the other softwares on the market. Next the model was built using 3D Printing (SLS technology)

Alternate Process approach: This project could have been built using Solidworks, but the wrapping of the logo would have taken more time.
